ENL

The ENL (English as a New Language) Department provides support for our English Language Learners (ELLs) to improve their English language proficiency levels in Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening in order to meet the demands of rigorous instruction in all core subject areas. Our ENL teachers are integrated into ELA and Science courses teaching with the content area teacher.  The ENL teachers utilize various language strategies and techniques that help Entering, Emerging, Transitioning, and Expanding level ELLs become proficient learners of English while building their content comprehension skills.
